During residency in Hungary, you’ll stay with the entire Incarnate community at a retreat center near Budapest. Two people per bedroom. During placement in East Asia, accommodation varies depending on location. You will be in a group of 5-7 Incarnate artists and hosted at an OM facility.

All meals are included. Please advise of any dietary restrictions and allergies.

With advice from the OM office in your country, you will arrange for your own flights to both locations. Residency in Hungary: arrive at Liszt Ference International Airport (BUD) by start date. Placement in East Asia: travel dates will be provided once you’ve been assigned to an outreach team. In both locations, you will receive travel passes for local public transportation at no additional cost.

Participants must be generally in good health. Walking will be part of many excursions. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate emergency health and medical insurance. Please advise of any ongoing medical concerns or accessibility needs.

Your stay in Hungary will be approximately 56 days followed by 57 days in a second international location. Once you have been accepted to Incarnate, your second location will be assigned. You may need to obtain an appropriate visa(s). Contact your home office for guidance and the necessary paperwork.

  • All training will be in English.
  • As part of the application process, your artistic skill will be assessed. You may also be asked to provide a personal reference from someone who knows your skill level well.
  • The fee covers room, food, local travel passes, basic art/studio supplies, and cultural excursions for both locations. It does NOT include flights, insurance & any possible vaccinations. Please contact your home office for more details.
