Do you have a desire to grow in your faith? Do you want to be trained in practical ministry skills and want to be challenged to put your faith into action? Come and join our 6-month Mission Discipleship Training (MDT) programme! Together with other young adults from all over the world you will be trained and discipled and serve alongside local ministries and churches to reach the people in Ireland with the Gospel.

MDTs exist to DISCIPLE and EQUIP believers for missions, as we SEND them to be involved in
seeing vibrant communities of Jesus followers among the least reached being established.

Beware! Short term missions might severely impact and change the course of your life for the glory of the Lord. If that's what you’re after, please proceed.
Also note that prices may be subject to change due to fluctuating exchange rates and that the advertised cost does not include your traveling costs.

Ministry details

At MDT Ireland we build our programme around four key areas:
COMMUNITY - living in a vibrant community with people from all over the world.
MENTORING - walking a journey with an experienced
missionary at MDT.
KNOWLEDGE - laying a Biblical foundation for ministry and growing in your understanding of God, His Word and His world.
EXPERIENCE - exposing you to many different kinds of ministry in the context of a local church.

A unique part of our MDT in Ireland is that you will learn and grow in the context of a placement in a local church. You’ll have the opportunity to build relationships in the community, and learn many different sides of ministry!
